ID Advanced Football – The Concept
The ID Advanced Football programme (IDAF) is a course that runs during the holidays out of Brookfield Secondary School. Our goal is to provide children already involved in grassroots football locally the opportunity to work with our experienced team in a structured coaching environment. Our coaching syllabus is designed to give players the additional tools they need to develop, engage and apply at grassroots level.
Some of our key coaching syllabus include;
Scanning and Awareness
Decision making
Possession/conditioned based games
Playing & receiving under pressure
Foundation to Introduction to Football Programme
The Introduction to Football sessions (IFP) will run out of Brookfield Secondary School on Saturday mornings. Working closely with Local clubs, including Locks Heath Lion’s and Sarisbury Sparks, we will be providing children who may have missed the opportunity to join a grassroots team with entry-level coaching and support. We want every child in the local area to access high-quality training that will help their development and understanding of the game so that when spaces become available in local clubs, they feel confident and ready to join in with grassroots team training and matchplay.
Coach the Coaches Programme
Based out of Brookfield Secondary school and their new 3G facility, our ‘Coach the Coaches’ programme (CCP) will see us work with coaches from both Locks Heath Lions and Sarisbury Sparks to help support and develop their understanding of the grassroots game.
Aligned with our coaching philosophy and syllabus, our team wants to support and put back into the grassroots coaching community. How? By running, planning, and delivering sessions aimed at helping parents and volunteers. Weekly sessions will be put on for different age groups to ensure all grassroots coaches get the chance to see how we deliver and how it can transition back to their teams.
